How to approach delegation

Working relationships are
characterised by open and respectful
communication, accountability,
and trust.

You cannot trust an educator who can’t or won’t be accountable for what they commit to.

You as a nominated supervisor can’t do your work if you’re not getting all the information that impact on the work you’re doing to run the service.

You can teach how to be a better communicator, how to be more accountable, how to be more trustworthy and more trusting.

You can’t force someone to be better at these things; however you can create an environment where these qualities are valued.
